Braswell's Select Fig Preserve
In 1946 we started our family business with this recipe which continues to be our best seller. Our carefully selected figs from the Central Valley are combined with pure cane sugar and gently cooked until they acquire a honey-like texture which is highlighted with chunks of tender figs. Use Braswell's Fig Preserve on cheese trays, in baked goods, or as a spread for a warm biscuit.
INGREDIENTS: Figs, cane sugar, pectin, citric acid and lemon juice concentrate

Braswell's is not always easy to find and over the years I have tried every other brand there is. Nothing, absolutely nothing, comes close to equaling the taste of Braswell's. Braswell's is identical to what my grandmother made in the 50's. In my opinion, there is no equal.

My husband ate theseFig Preserves on whole wheat crackers with a dab of cream cheese every day - until it was gone. He just couldn't resist the fabulous taste and texture of these preserves.
